Dear Quant,
I got newsfor you. In our semi-capitalistic society, almost everyone is a
vendor to some degree. The only exception that comes to mind is if you were
the heir to a fortune and did nothing but live off your wealth. But, that
wouldn't be much of an endorsement for your life contributing much to
society. Yes, it is the vendors of the world that bring good things to
life. If you trade, you are a vendor, because you add liquidity to the
market and whether you know it or not you have customers too.
There is no getting around it. Those who produce, create, and make life
better are all vendors. As for Ric, he has confessed that he is a trading
coach and it would not be good psychology if he offered these services for
free. So Quant, how do you support yourself? Did Grandpa leave you a trust
fund or do you actually do something with your life other than criticize
everyone else?
Cheers,
Norman
