While we are waiting for something to happen, here is a market price
distribution view of 30 minute bars. After failing to find support at the
first hour low the SP dropped to S2 and then rallied back to the center of
the newly developing value area(magenta line in the blue portion of the
histogram. Thei increasing Hilber Period reflects the downtrend cycle
length. Periods lengthen in trend mode and shorten at cycle mode peaks and
troughs. The key here is to watch for a cycle length shortening to reflect
a trend change.
