The following is the charter as stated on the Yahoo!
list for Realtraders.
A discussion forum for traders of stocks, commodities, and options
using technical analysis methods.
Please keep posts to the point and on the subject matter and refrain
from unnecessary short reply posts like "thank you" type replies that use
up valuable members' reading time.
Also, please give each member's post the respect it deserves, whether
or not you agree with the conclusions reached, and treat each other with
professionalism and common decency. Personal attacks are not to be made on
this forum. Violators will be removed immediately.
Posts advertising the sale of any products or services of companies are
not tolerated in this forum. Members who post these kind of messages will
be removed immediately.
The main goal is to share and enrich everyone's knowledge about trading
in the markets profitably. Enjoy!
It is not necessary to try to move the list and cause the
pain and lack of participation that will occur in such a situation.
If a MODERATOR for the list is desired and someone could be found
that would take on such a chore then all that is needed is to contact the
current "owner" of this list and have it modified so that it
is a "moderated" list or have the "owner" current "moderator" provide a
method for removing people from the list.

Subject: [RT] Our list
I think it time we looked to fix our problems with the list
and to that end, we need to know some fundamentals which I admit, I've
lost track of. As far as I can tell, there is no list moderator and
since we are using yahoogroups, that makes sense. If there is
sufficient interest, I'll look into setting up a majordomo mail server and
we'll move the list to it. Should we do that, I would propose that
we have a small committee to determine if someone is dropped and that we
set up a set of criteria that makes the list for the benefit of the
majority and that we remove all self serving interests, be they financial
or ego tripping. I would like to see our list move toward people
sharing their ideas on individual trades, whether they be commodities,
equities, futures, options or funds. I would like to see at least a
modicum of courtesy to others and the mumbo jumbo, vague, guru bull shit,
gone. Anyway, if there is an interest in this proposal or another
idea to return civility and professionalism to our list, lets speak
out.BobTo
