Nah, he just forgot that when your luck is running hot, you bet more and 
when it turns cold, you take in a show or cut drastically back on your 
bets.. I've seen it many times.. gamblers get into the mode of conserving 
capital when things are going great and increasing risk to cover 
losses.  180 degrees out of order and a disaster course.  Much the same can 
happen in trading if one isn't diligent.
