What is brilliance? In the eye of the beholder. I belive brilliance
is to turn control of every aspect of trading over to a computer. It
is a fact that the largest and best CTA's in the biz do just that. Do
you think that they use coaches to help them psychologically trade or
try and control something with the mind? No! They have staff's of
researchers who look at black and white numbers and apply that
research with mechanical coldness.
Take a guy who has not a clue and train him to overcome his trading
fear. He will fail if he does not have a method, no matter how he
might wish to handle situation he can not. Controlling your emotions
will not make you successful, unless it is to remove yourself from the
equation.
Yet take for example another guy who has a method, he can either be
hypnotized to do as his method dictates. Or he could hand over the
method to a broker who could assist him in implementing his method.
Thus removing the broken spoke, sticking you in the leg each time the
wheel goes round.
