Much better Ric.  Now do it again, half as
long.

Hi,This is short, but as usual I am still
attempting to provoke you to think.Thank you for all responses - for I
see them all as valid. My 'master/student' email has evoked a range of
responses from "thanks", to "insightful", to "thought-provoking" to"yes, but",
to "selling", to "garbage", to "long" to "pedantic" to...The sheer
range of responses to the self-same email, suggests that the response probably
says more about each responder, than it says about the content or value of any
email they are responding to.In particular the "selling" comment
reminds me of Andy Warhol who suggested that "Shopping is more American than
thinking.".This mastery of emotional response or reaction is a key
concept for traders to grasp - or else they will be forever victims of the
markets whim (losers of capital) rather than an exploiter of whatever happens
(winners of capital). So this is a key skill of repeatable successful
trading and not giving the money back - getting past your emotional reaction
to recognise that it is your emotional reaction that makes you a
victim.   Not what the market does. For those whose emotional
responses are still clouding their ability to see their emotional responses as
just that - their responses (note the ownership) - good luck in releasing
yourself from self-imposed slavery as one of lifes victims.
For those that do not need the luck, thank you for lighting the way,
for I am still somewhat in the dark and enjoying what little light others have
  shed before me.Unconditional regards, Ric.<A

P.S.For those who complained of length, I notice many
complainers attached my email in full.Perhaps a case of the 'pot
calling the kettle black'.   Another opportunity for
  self-insight perhaps? To
