Free form lets you do anything (time and price wise) and keep it in
proportion.  It is like a grid you move around but everything stays right in
relationship to the chart size you are viewing.  Fixed increments has
exactly that, preset increments but again always in proportion to the chart
you are viewing.

Let me see if I can find the tape and more importantly give an
understandable explanation back (between the games today) :-)
