Someone else can answer that question. Note how the SPX(INX) did not have
the gyrations that the XMI had today. Yet, the XMI is composed of some
pretty major stocks. I have no clue as to the arbitrage in the XMI vs SnP
or what it was historically. I recall from almost a decade back listening
to some audio tapes while out cycling, from an unknown guru who espoused the
virtures of following the XMI missiles prior to the cash open. These little
studies have been somewhat of an attempt to see if there was any value in
using the cash XMI in this way in today's environment. here is the chart
updated a bit later
