Be aware that some viruses operate by sending themselves to people in
an inbox. Some have mentioned that they informed the sender of the
virus. This may only trigger another wave of viruses sent out.
All of this takes place in the background, and the user, particularly
a naive user, may not be aware of what is happening. A computer left
attached to the net may do this for a long time. Under these
conditions, the sending of viruses may not be malicious at all - just
a less-than-competent user. Viruses are VERY common on this list.
