"what about KKD,"
I had to put up with mile long lines for 24x7 when the KKD down the street
moved in. Home depot still hasn't got back 1/2 their parking lot taken over
by KKD for the long lines and it's been over 3 months since they opened. My
friends and I agree that they're too sweet, have way too much grease and fat
in them and if you sit in the car with a box for 15 minutes or so (driving
to work say) and the windows are closed, you begin to get nauseous from the
smell. Big round grease stains decorate the bottom of the box after about
15 minutes or so. :-(. What's more is the doughnuts are 50% air and 40%
grease and you have to eat about 5 to feel like you've had a doughnut.
That's my 2 cents on KKD.
Give me fresh hot COSTCO doughnuts any day over KKD.
