Subject: [RT] Testing with real-time / intraday data...
All,
In preperation for AMIBroker's real-time version, I would like to do some
real-time paper trading. What I'm thinking of wold be a data service that
doles out phoney daily price data which I could use to paper trade, but it
would preferably run 24 hours a day.
I would want to use a (free) service as opposed to just running on canned
data stored on my computer because I want to insert the descretionary
human element in the trade. That means real-time interaction.
If not, well I guess I can use intraday data stored in a file (although
I'm not sure where to get that either) or try to tune my systems to daily
data and use them on intraday data.... but obivously I would be taking a
big chance there.
Any ideas on testing intraday systems and such paper-trading services?
