Bloomberg (not on the free side) carries the data daily.
The activity could not be tax related in December. The hedging activity of
the private banks to offset the 144 sales could be ... then the short
interest would also be falling.

Has anyone checked on the number of 144 sales taking place at this
time. There has been size in EBAY and JDSU. Could these be tax
related? I doubt it. Where would one find this information on the
internet if they wanted to dig a little deeper?
