If you have an account with Oppenhimer you can get a printout that shows
PAST performance
Example is my dad
He put in 1973 100000 from the sale of his home into oppenhimer equity
income fund
in 6/74 withdrew 6000
6/31/75 7000
6/76 8000
6/76 9000
6/77 10000
6/78 11000
6/79 12000
and in 6/2001 34000
and still has 234000 in the account!!
hope this helps
Ben
