Re: [RT] Oil! Could we end the need for imported oil?

Hi Prosper,

You may wish to look at the technology of EAR, which is listed on the
Canadian Venture Exchange (Environmental Applied Research Technology House -
aka Earth (Canada) Corporation), if not the underlying equity. Its website
is www.earthcanada.com.

The technology involves the separation of oil impregnated water into water
at 1 ppm of oil residue and the subsequent separation of the oil from the
absorbent at 99+% efficiency and the ability to re-use the separation
compound 99 more times. The net effect beyond environmental considerations
(recycling of water) is the increased efficiency of oil well production.

It is apparently not only technically more efficient than alternative
methods but more cost-effective as well as is evidenced by the recent
multi-year contracts with Schlumberger - see
http://www.slb.com/pr.cfm?prid=8721&baid=1.

EAR has about 36 million outstanding shares and a current market
capitalization of less than $24 million (Canadian). Fully diluted I believe
the shares are not significantly more than 40 million.

EAR appears to be an undiscovered opportunity - but I am less than competent
to analyze the fundamentals of the industry.

For disclosure purposes I hold the stock.

FWIW,

Regards,

Tony Pylypuk
