Debka is mainly BS with a lot of imagination thrown in. Here is a
detailed post from someone else on the Prudent Bear forum. I
basically agree with the post but remember, I AM JUST THE MESSENGER
here:

SUBJECT: Propaganda machine.

DEBKA files is the propaganda tool of choice for Masada2000, the New
Koch movement, and other zionist hate groups.
The website is registered to
Shamis communication LTD
53/3 Bar Cochba
Jerusalem, Is 97892
Israel
and owned by Giora Shamis and Diane Shalem.
Their M/O is to write highly-detailed reports implicating every
country or ethnic group the zionists are gunning for in all sorts of
schemes--both real and imaginary. For example Debka is constantly
trying to implicate the Palestinians in the Sept. 11th terrorist
attack, outlandishly claiming that Palestinians helped practice the
attack.
The idea is to butter up Americans for an all-out assault on the
Palestinians and assassination/summary execution of all of their
leaders.
They have conspiracies involving rival religious and ethnic groups
whose countries are not allied to each other.
The level of detail is enough to fool people who quite frankly WANT
to believe it anyway. One report for example supposedly detailed the
spoiled, undisciplined childhood of a Syrian official.
Most of debka's sources are conveniently anonymous. THINK: Israel has
the most draconian national security laws in the world; the Mossad
has been known to conduct secret executions (including of
Israelis!!!) to protect what they perceive to be security interests.
And supposedly this site can get away with publishing
anonymous "leaks" from Israeli security personnel?
Another example of their far-fetched claims is that Arafat got away
with being rude and stubborn with Israeli officials begging him to
accept their offer of 97% of the territories (there was never any
such offer) because he'd already been given assurances of support
from "guilt-wrenched Jews" of "the Bilderberg Group"! Why would
central bankers and globalists take the least bit of interest in the
pathetic Palestinians?! And if such a meeting ever took place how
would Debka files find out about it?! Delusions of grandeur...
Yet another: only a few weeks ago Debka claimed that Iraqi troops had
invaded Jordan, and that the USA and Israeli military were aware of
the incursion but covering it up. Um, to what purpose would ANY of
that be happening? Hello, reality check?! Besides, there are foreign
news correspondants in Jordan, and the media would have no motive to
spike stories coming out.
Jonathan Pollard's supporters, btw, are trying to discredit DEBKA for
publishing propaganda harmful to his case. Considering the Israeli
government's behavior after his unusual case--it sure looks like a
plant to me.
The typical DEBKA fanatic likes to think of him/herself as an
intellectual elite who has a secret link into the fun and exciting
world of international espionage. It also helps boost their bloated
egos by justifying the prejudicial hatred that they already feel for
those they consider "the enemies of Israel".
