The potential out on  being dependent on Middle East  fossil fuels is the
Russian/Putin connection.  This is being perceived as an opportunity for
Russia to be there to supply America with energy in the scenario that this
escalates to where energy sources are shut off in the Middle East...  OPEC
ministers have allegedly contacted Putin complaining about supporting USA
and I hear that the Russian response was basically we are going to take this
as an opportunity to better relations with America and potentially infuse
our economy with this much needed opportunity..... SO  there can be a
positive in this.....  I agree it will be a long drown out affair and will
continue at some level long after Bin Laden is pushing up
daisies............  .. I have a target on crude that may not be seen short
term but it could go as low as
