Hi Tim,
I live in Australia & trade pretty much exclusively the
Australian market.
I watch the major US index's & keep a watch list of certain US stocks &
Index's..
In non US Indicies/Stocks I follow..heres a few below (I pasted
these from Yahoo World Indicies
Australia XAo(All Ordinaries) & XJO (Standard & Poors Top 200, gradually
taking over from XAO) are the major 2 Australian Indicies

The top 4 out of these Indicies to look at in Asia (depending who you
listen too), & mainly what I watch would be Japan, HongKong, Australia,
Singapore...then South Korea or Taiwan possibly etc.
For Europe
(below)..I look at the FTSE, German Dax & French Cac.

Recently I have looked occasionally at Brazil, & Argentina, only because of
the potential problems brewing in this part of the World
Personally I dont follow any Sub Indicies outside of the Australia or the
US...I do follow certain stocks in London (& as I indicated above the US).
In Londons case I mainly only follow certain Large Cap stocks there
because they are dual listed in Australia & London, so its special
situations only.
Australia has dual listed stocks predominantely in the US, London, and
also smaller cap stocks in Germany.
The Major Forex & base metal/precious metal/Energy Indicies I also follow.
