I should have deleted the promotional details! More than likely Ed sold his
customer list to this spammer in exchange for a cut of the spammer's take. I
have bought a number of trading books from Ed over the years (rather than
taking better offers from B&N and Amazon) but that won't happen again. I
will not do business with firms which share customer information with other
firms unless I specifically consent to it. This behavior shows poor ethics
and lack of respect for customer privacy.
