Sometimes monitoring high beta stocks will sniff out a trend change in
advance.  Biotechs used to be that way years ago before sectorization caught
on strong.  The NHB index did not give a clue today though and it should
have if the theory applied.  I suspect those stocks on the earlier post were
the benefactors of an alternative energy newsletter or broker
recommendation.  They are not suggestions by anymeans, just some I track in
a Marketocracy portfolio in friendly competition.
