Locals or whatever, large players can always move thin markets. You can
watch them push the market around when it's thinly traded ... generally
1130-100 Chicago plus times when market lacks sense of direction. Emini
action, even with size limit raised from 30 to 250 contracts is still much
lighter in terms of total contracts than pit. ACE bond volume is getting
much closer to pit volume and size there is often 500+ contracts ... I've
watched ACE move the bonds on very thin volume, then snap it back.
