Norman, I generally pass on critiquing astrology based trading, however I
suspect it took Mark more than a few hours to prepare his post. While much
of it went over my head, his intention was clearly to contribute something
to the knowledge of the list. You dismiss it by suggesting that because he
has not proven that no correlation exists, he is dead wrong. You further go
on to state that the correlation's can be easily proven.
Clyde posted some fascinating material to this list a couple of years ago,
along with Omega ELA code, which allowed one to observe the effect of moon
and sun on trading equity indexes. Clyde has once again contributed
something concrete and of value to the discussion. Rather than simply
dismissing Mark's work, I suggest that you follow Clyde's lead and post a
couple of correlation's which prove your case for planets, stars, asteroids,
or whatever else you may choose to use for making trading decisions.
