No offense, but emailing an executable program file is about one of the 
worst things one should do - not to friends, email lists, but maybe your 
enemies.

With the proliferation of email borne virus attacks, its just not a safe 
practice. Its bad enough that virus attacks are being designed to 
masquerade as JPG and GIF image files (normally innocuous) but EXE, COM, 
DLL, VBS and other executable or script files should be avoided by readers 
and senders alike, especially to public forums.

Having virus protection in place is no guarantee, nor is avoiding opening 
the file going to protect you absolutely, since some applications (various 
versions of Outlook for example) will 'open' them while in preview and 
other modes.
