Bob, I have not been using this indicator recently, so you might check if
it is as effective now as it was when I was using it more regularly .
Remember when I was doing these indicators several years back I was doing
them manually. In the past I found that normalized volume when computed
without regard to total volume which includes unchanched volume. If you use
the following formula : upvolume-down volume divided by up volume +down
volume the resulting % is accumulated daily just like the a/d line on
issues up/ issues down . Then you apply an exponential moving average to
this cumulative % a/d line. I use .15 which is equivalent to about 13 days.
When there is a Divergence between this exp. ma reading of the cum. a/d line
of the % and the price you have a signal which will be very close in time
to change in price reversal
