The answer is yes and no. Yes you are receiving it, but the Global Server
doesn't know where to stick the data so it trashes it. If you put the new
symbols in your Quote monitor or Radar Screen you will see that the symbols
get highlighted when new data arrives but it won't appear in any of the
columns. I can see this by watching Radar alongside Chameleon on another
machine. DTN is still sending the data in the up,down, unch, total fields as
they did in the older symbols @ISN and @VSN, etc. Only with the new symbols
only one of the 4 fields has data. Like for the @IINA only the up field has
data. The @ISN still has all 4 fields filled in. So, DTN needs to send the
data as an INDEX format or Stock format in order to shift the data to their
OHLC fields, OR they need to send a "P" Process code to tell the Global
Server to stick it in the LAST field. Don't know if the GS is that smart
though. DTN has 8 different data strings that identifies to the server what
kind of data is coming, stock, indexes, stats, calculated, bonds, index and
equity ops, futures and futures ops. Each symbol within each of these data
types has an associated "P" code. DTN is still using the Calculated P code
for the new breadth data. So, the guy in their ticker plant needs to
reclassify those new symbols as they do for some other Calculated data, like
TICK for example or TRIN which are calculated but appear in the
High,Low,Last fields. I phoned them this morning and told them as much.
