second that.  Win2k is the best if your software will run on it and their 
are drivers for everything you use.

  2000 Professional  It is the workstation productthat took windows 
  NT.  What is nice is that it is robust like NT was, and ithas Plug 
  and Play features of Windows 98, thus you could have an easier
