Yet another rip-off from Omega, the company which releases them
regularly. First they prohibited license transfers so that their sales
to newbies would not be hurt by competition from licensees who had
already cratered their trading accounts after spending 3 grand for
trading software. Next, they disenfranchised tens of thousands of
SuperCharts owners by not releasing a 32 bit upgrade. Then they replaced
TS with Omega ProSuite at a much higher price and pushed out as many as
possible likely knowing full well that they were changing course yet
again. Now they have disenfranchised the ProSuite owners by
discontinuing that product. Now, for only $100 month they will rent the
software while giving their customers to opportunity to place their
brokerage orders through ... you guessed it ... a new incarnation of the
Cruz brothers. Obviously, their existing user base was not worth
preserving so you can imagine the value they have placed on their old
customer base and will place on whatever new customer base they can
cobble together. Problem is, the flow of newbies has been severely cut
by a less generous market. Now all those discarded professional traders,
who already know how Omega operates, are going to be the last remaining
prospects and the Cruz brothers may finally get their just deserts.
