Yes, short term the globex action created the 180 degree turn in thinking,
but read on. There are at a minimum two views, intraday and end of day.
The long term end of day viewed by the CVnaznya(see next post for
attachment) has clearly been one of bearish volume and as Ben says
cumulative net volume wins. Thus the short term intraday view of the CVnaz
and CVnya showed a volume turn up on Wednesday which is a counter trend, and
tradeable against the longer term EOD. When Gateway came out with their
earnings the ES and NQ dropped precipitously. So, as of now a gap opening
in the day session should drop the OEX to the lower regression channel line
at about 702. However, statistics says it may pause at 704 to 706, and
failing those three levels it goes to 699 to 694 for only a strong down day.
Crash mode, ala -2 std dev, would see 687(see second post for chart).
