Just incase any DTN users with the D8000 receiver that are switching to the
B8080 and are wondering if their existing LNB will work with the
8080......the answer is yes if you rotate it 90 degrees. Reason has to do
with vertical vs horizontal polarization of the satellite signal. New LNB's
are supposedly being shipped with the new 8080 receivers but none came with
my receiver. Answer came from DTN tech support. Only difference between
the old and new LNB is the factory mounting of the tunnel diode inside the
signal cavity so rotating the LNB is said to work just fine.
