Sorry for not responding but I was on a long phone call moving some
accounts around. When you visited the IB web pages did you take note of
three items: reduction in commission to $2.95 effective December 1, new
trading platform being released, and retail accounts are going to have
electronic access to ACE and Globex? If IB can charge $4.95 and then cut
to $2.95 all inclusive, you have to wonder about these brokers hanging
onto their $14-16 charges for electronic access.
