<DIV>Bill,</DIV>

<DIV>I like you favor bonds over trading the SP's. I do trade them but very
lightly compared to binds and currencies.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Your statement "<FONT size=2>Now, what worries me is that the bonds have
just put in a minor H&S and so seem to be heading in the same direction"
</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=3>I thought this was also true until I was corrected a
while back by a floor trader who used to trade in the SP and later the Bond pit.
According to him the phenomenon of them moving in opposite directions is a
relatively new, late nineties thing except in times of extreme panic like late
1987 when the market fell severely, prior to that big drop they were moving in
tandem I believe he said. Something worth checking out anyway as an FWIW, (I
have not verified the statement). Or maybe from your experience you know this is
not true. Let me know will you.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>As far as EW on this sideways chop forget it no clear picture on the
daily. The weekly says a wave 5 top maybe in but it looks incomplete and we could
easily head higher and develop a more complete internal pattern in the wave 5.
Jury is still out.</DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I've been playing around with that Spoo

it?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>If it gets to the neckline and breaks through, it
will be one heck of trade to the target, that is for sure!!
It won't be a bad trade getting to it from here. As you know I do
not trade the S&P, but intraday, it throws out some good indications of
what the bonds are going to do. Now, what worries me is that the
bonds have just put in a minor H&S and so seem to be heading in the same
direction and that under current conditions is very odd, very contrary and
possibly very significant...</FONT></DIV>
