I've used this particular technique to find EPs with mixed success. It
appears that if one EP works in a particular geometric pattern, then
many will work, sometimes 100%. In other patterns none will work. The
key seems to be the reliability of the L2 resistance line. In this case
the L2 resistance line has worked for 6 pivots, suggesting that the
dates for the EPs are worth considering. The idea behind the term EP is
that the analysis doesn't tell you, by itself, what is going to happen
at the projected EP. It could represent a pivot or an acceleration in
the same direction.

In the case of the 7/26 EP, it was supported by two geometric
intersections and preceded by a level 1 EP at 7/25. Well, the 7/25
response was a weak countertrend move to the upside so it appeared
obvious that the 7/26 move would be with the trend to the downside.

The best way to use this technique is to combine it with other
indicators such as trend and cycle analysis to allow you to anticipate
the potential direction of the move.
