NO, not a case of great minds thinking a like... but I am also looking at
BMCS and CA, two really beaten down stocks. And I may get in trouble;
because I think CA is too cheap!
CA is oversold, the stock closed near 27 at the close of regular hours
trading on Thursday, and someone was playing games with the stock
after-hours with a trade at 25, the 52-week low. CA earnings were below
estimates, even below lowered estimates but the stock went up to 27 on
Friday. I currently own 400, 200 at 26 1/2 and 200 at 27 5/16 and will buy
another 600 if I get a good entry point(s) on Monday. CA was punished,
justifiably so IMHO, because of bad execution in their marketing department
(where pink slips are Rae expected to distributed soon) but the company has
a good suite of products;
in addition, bad news this quarter and the next are already in the stock. I
am looking for a ten-pointer by early fall (before the seasonal fall
decline) but I will bail out if the stock has at least three closes below
25.
