Sorry for coming on this post so late, but just got in and thought all of
you might find this info interesting.
I called BMI the middle of last week as if I were a new subscriber wanting
their satelite feed.
Their answer was that they do not sign new subscribers to that service nor
their cable service any longer, because they are going to discontinue both
within the next 18 to 24 months.
I then asked them if it was possible that they would be selling off BMI to
some other company so that their current customers could continue with the
service. Their answer was that it would be unlikely. Mostly because the
equipment that they currently use does not have the capability or bandwidth
to handle all of the volume that is currently being generated by the markets
at this time.

ps: I know that both BMI and Signal monitor this forum, because when I
posted that I was having problems with my BMI datafeed, I got an e-mail back
from DBC wanted me to switch over to e-Signal. No way am I going to do
that.
