I used to use this program, and yes it was DOS based. I haven't used it for
some time and have not upgraded. It did allow you to determine your own
patterns and their affectiveness as well as some canned patterns. In the
old days I think the canned patterns were used just to demonstrate to the
user how to use the program and extract their own pattern.
In fact, that program is the basis for the determination of my pattern
recog. systems that I use to this day.
