Yes Phil, but the problem where I live is, that if you hold a stock
for less than a year and it's profitable, it would be considered a
short term gain at 28% federal, and 12% mass tax for capital gains,
but if I traded futures, it would be 60%-40% short term/ long term
gain no matter how long the holding period is. That's a huge plus on
my end..

Certain stocks can dramatically outperform the market (futures) - both up
and down - The timing is up to you.
