Both of the attached are from the "freeware" version of
SwingMachine.
The Junk2.gif has recorded on the screen the result of
a Fourier (line spectra) analysis of the last 120 bars of
daily data from the day sessions of the SP.
As Jim noted there is cyclic activity in the 13 bar range.
Examination shows significant activity with 12, 14, and 17
bar periods.
The projections of these three cycles (individually NOT
summed) are shown in the Junk1.gif picture.
You can see that there will be some inteference from one
of these cycles being somewhat out of phase over the
next cycle.
