The main difference in price from one state to another is taxes. Cities also
tend to be higher due to less station competition and higher rent. Manhattan
is higher than Brooklyn due to lack of competition and high cost of space.
New Jersey is 20-30 cents lower than Brooklyn due to lower taxes.

Profit is great but the CEO of XOM blatantly said they were a cash cow and
their stock was undervalued. Why are they a cash cow - because me and
others being in Chicago must pay minimum 2.25/gallon when its cheaper
anywhere else.I love profit, having owned a manufacturing concern, but don't
take me by the cullions when it is really not a supply and demand issue. Gas
and software from Microsoft are not the same . One is a necessity, the
other is not.Neither has reached a critical mass in terms of demand.
