Alt-165 should work. Do you have the right keyboard language and layout?
Check the keyboard control panel app. Below is an excellent freeware app
called Extended Character Map which is very helpful if you use extended
characters. It gives you a nice keyboard layout with the codes for each
character (regular + extended) for each font.

Subject: [RT] Help typing in currency symbols

I have always typed <ALT> 0165 to get the yen symbol to work on my PC. I
have a new PC and that is not working. Anybody have any ideas on how to get
it to work? Also, does anybody know the code for the Euro symbol?

Thanks.
