Having spilled your beans my reaction is to thank someone that you don't run
things. Some people seem to thrive on straight vinegar. If and when the
things happen that you think will happen, so be it. What will be, will be.
Why should the children of the future be any different from the children of
the past? Getting upset about boom and bust is to miss the lesson of history
that they always have and always will happen. So what if the bubble breaks.
Only a few manic depressives will commit suicide the rest will go back to
work and forget the markets. If we nuke the world, it was nice while it
lasted. The lucky ones are at ground zero because it's over in a flash.
History is packed with many ironies. If it weren't for World War II we
probably wouldn't have computers or jet aircraft or many, many other things
that we depend on every day. The great depression created a whole generation
of scrappy, can do, achievers that for good or bad built most of this world.
Someone wise once told me "If you can really change things do it, if you
can't then forget it and get busy on the things that you can."
