I seldom give my opinions regarding fundamental news such as this 
subject.  I do not usually  pay attention to such discussion but things are 
looking ignorant here.  I am not sure who started it with saying that the 
FED or any special body so called "Plunge Protection Team" do occur or ONLY 
use their taxpayer's money to buy up the market.  There are probably many 
ways around like the one previously mentioned and also such as but not 
limited to creating an atmosphere of simultaneous announcement of (non 
monetary tactics) yada yada good economy news, extraordinary income by 
those big corporation etc... which would give or paint the mind of the 
public to believe the whole economy is good & rosy or otherwise which we 
can observe right away specially such as on the early morning of Monday TV 
and newspaper news.

Anyway, the so called "Plunge Protection Team" have been use by the HK 
government as their own local version which they (HK gov't) really admitted 
they created a special body during the 1997/1998 period to buyback shares 
of good solid fundamental companies and to encourage HK citizens to do the 
same.  This can be supported by facts thru research over those period of 
time in most HK newspaper website like http://www.scmp.com etc... Or maybe 
some of our HK friends here in the list have read it in the newspaper.

So now what if they already accumulated so much shares and the economy is 
already back in track?  When do they sell?  They are wise.  With so much 
shares in their hands and if they sold it to the market then the market 
might not absorved it and another crash would happen.  They then created a 
holding company for it and issued IPO to the public who had HK identity 
card (ID) are only allowed to subscribe the IPO.  Thats a fact.  I forgot 
the company name but it was well known during last 1-2 years ago if you ask 
any ordinary HK citizen and they know it right away.  BTW, I am not a HK 
citizen.

So think about it.  It can work visibly and also invisibly.

I am not against anyone here, just my 1 cents.  Please I am not looking for 
enemy here but to share and learn at the same time.  Correct me if I am 
wrong but no personal attacks please.
