One of Jesse Livermores quote is:

"There are only two emotions in the stock market, hope and fear.  The
problem is most investors hope when they should fear and fear when they
should hope."

I guess at the moment:
- longs hope it goes back up,
- shorts hope it goes further down
- out of the markets fear to step in.

If I translate :
- longs should fear the downside and reduce positions.
- shorts should fear the upside and reduce positions.
- longs should hope it goes up long term, and step in

I must be missing something. Anybody a better reading here?
