Not necessarily $10,000 moving average oscillatortrading systems.
In fact, many months ago, there were posts on the CL and omega groups of
the Kaufman indicator and system - free. I believe (haven't verified) you
can also get these from omega reserch website somewhere.
Another excellent moving average indicator is Mark Jurik's JMA, which you
can buy from him for (I can't remember the exact price) maybe $200. If one
is very good at programing, one can write a very good trading system with JMA.
There are many other very good ela codes one can get free of charge, from
the CL group (courtesy of Mark Brown) and the omega research website.
Only recently, one member from the omega group posted a ela file, which
couldn't be opened, and another member "translated" the code which everyone
could see. It's an expontential moving average crossover system, which
works quite well for "long-term" trades (prerequisit: the stock must be
pretty trendy).
You do need the $2500 TS4 or TS2000.
