Dear RTs,
Generally, I keep about 1/3 of my portfolio in each of
1. Futures
2. Index mutual funds that I switch based on technical indicators. Typical
holding periods are less than a week (for losers) to 3 months or longer (for
winners)
3. "buy and hold" mutual funds with good track records for their active
management.
I'm thinking about changing #2 to the AMEX products that allow intraday
pricing.
Obviously, I am getting the boilerplate information from AMEX on these
products.
If any RTs have an opinion they are willing to express on these products
(either privately to me or publicly in RT) I'd greatly appreciate your
opinion(s).
