[RT] RE: RE: James Smith sez ...

Big sigh...

It is something that he sends to me and that I have not paid for. I
don't know if he will continue sending it to me or if I will someday be
pitched for a subscription fee. I find it informative as he makes
relatively clear predictions and explains the rational for the what he
is predicting, something that too many others often fail to do. It is a
relatively detailed discussion that complements subjects discussed daily
on RT.

I have no association with the service. I also don't believe that I was
propagating commercial spam (which btw is usually taken to mean somebody
pitching something for sale with little or no content or "information").
Did you find the information of no value? If I had removed the contact
telephone number and web site pointer at the end, would you have been
happy?

Lastly, because you posted to the whole list, I am forced to reply to
the list. As you should have learned in the past, if you have a problem
with anything that you think is spam or any other problem on RT, it
would be better to first communicate your concerns privately rather than
immediately broadcast your concern to the whole list and perhaps
contribute to creating another flame war.

I don't know what others think, but this looks like commercial Spam to
me.
Has RT changed the policy about commercial advertising?
