LOWRISK.COM INVESTOR SENTIMENT SURVEY 3 / 13 / 2000
Below are the results of our weekly "Guess the Dow" sentiment
survey. The survey was taken from 3/6 through 3/12 on the
Lowrisk.com web site.
Number of participants: 390
30 day outlook:
33% bullish, 48% previous week
53% bearish, 33% previous week
13% neutral, 19% previous week
The Dow gave up 439 points and sentiment did about as we would
suspect. It grew quite a bit more bearish. Bullish sentiment dropped
15% to 33%. Bearish sentiment jumped from 33% to 53%. Neutral
sentiment dropped from 19% to 13%.
The increase in bearishness is understandable and expected give the
drop in the Dow. However, that bearish reading of 53% is getting up
to an extreme level and implies that the bulls might finally get
something to cheer about soon.
