An interesting article came my way the other day. A M.D. stated that one
cause of the current bull market is due to an increase in mood altering
drugs being ingested by the populace in general. i.e. Prozac and other
anti-depressants. Apparently they lessen the fear of danger and could make
certain people bolder etc. According to the article, one in four investors
is under the influence of these drugs. (the general U.S. population
currently taking these drugs is estimated to be about 20 million)
