In terms of their value and stock price I just don't think it's good for anybody. Once Walmart has to begin confronting issues of union and wage constraints based on non liquid economics(by this I mean union terms that may have no basis in the current market at any one point)
how can Walmart control its costs and supply its customers with value. Much of the discount they offer is because they have non skilled labor en masse. At the level of dealing in mass commodities with Union- less profit, less customers, less union jobs, less Walmarts. Walmart employees are not making $40,000 automobiles.
. And I don't go into Walmart expecting to talk to a rocket scientist to get his opinions on the gas crises. Unions and mass retailing in this day and age don't wash.
BTW I owned Walmart until about 2 weeks ago.

Hi Group,
Heres an update to the Walmart vs Union. I think the demand for the
Union will now grow, job security.
