Several people have told me that I need a company that is "Level II" for
most efficient order execution. As I understand it Level II provides
information of who is offering what on NASDQ stocks. If I only trade
NYSE large cap technology is there still some advantage with this type
of provider? I subscribe to a satellite real time data provider so that
I can compile tick data for testing ideas. So I'm already paying
exchange fees, have real time data and an extensive charting program.
What I would like to find is a company that gives me the ability to
quickly switch between about 4 accounts for order entry, rapid order
entry, quick execution, continuous tracking of order status and dynamic
updating of positions. A reasonable software fee and ticket charge
would be a plus. Got any suggestions?
