A number of years ago (10 to be exact) I was very intrigued with cycle
analysis and performed a study whereby I also found a dominant cycle of 78
trading days in the stock market and also in the currency markets. For awhile
I used it as a trading vehicle until the cycle began to disappear at certain
times or shift periodicity to 4 weeks( one lunar cycle) early or late. I
finally stopped looking at it altogether a couple of years ago but I'm glad
to see Ron revive it. I will now put it back on my radar screen. It can be a
very useful tool for predicting market turns.
