[RT] Re: Gen: Outlook Express

I know the problem! In the end Microsoft in England sent me a disk to
re-install the whole thing. It was a specially cut disk, rather than one
with their name on it, as I gather they do not generally do this. Also,
they said it was a particular problem which the 5.01 would solve, if that
means anything to you.

Obviously, you still have to have the disconnect box ticked. For the first
few occasions I clicked the two little monitors that flash when you are
connected, in order to watch the progress and actually see the disconnection
take place.

Having solved that problem, does anyone have any trouble with the wretched
thing staying connected during the download of messages? Sometimes with RT
and others the amount of messages can run up to quite a high figure and very
often I get disconnected half way through. This then means that the next
time I log on, I have to download the whole amount all over again - plus
whatever new message there are. If it disconnects again, the problem gets
worse.

Over here, we have to pay for the calls every time we log on (one reason why
satellite is better or much more cost effective than internet for RT data!),
so it would be nice if MSN could make sure their server stayed connected.

Any thoughts from anyone, would be much appreciated.
